S kvantitativno mikroanalizo (WDXS) je bil dolocen nacin vgradnje
Ce v strukturo BaTiO 3 . Nacin vgradnje Ce v BaTiO 3 je odvisen od
atmosfere zganja in izhodne sestave vzorcev. Med zganjem na zraku
se tvori trdna raztopina BaTi 1-X Ce 4+ X O 3 , ce dodamo CeO 2 k BaTiO 3
skupaj s prebitnim BaO, trdna raztopina
Ba 1-X Ce 3+ X Ti 1-X/4 (V"" Ti ) X/4 O 3 , ce dodamo CeO 2 skupaj s
prebitnim
TiO 2 in raztopina Ba 1-4X/7 Ce 3+ 4X/7 Ti 4+ 1-
3X/7 Ce 4+ 3X/7 (V"" Ti ) X/7 O 3 ,
v primeru, ko dodamo k BaTiO 3 cisti CeO 2 . Med zaganjem v
redukcijski atmosferi se tvori siroko podrocje trdne topnosti Ce
v BaTiO 3 , ki ga omejujeta trdni raztopini Ba 1-X Ce X Ti 4+ 1-
X Ti 3+ X O 3
in Ba 1-X Ce 3+ X Ti 4+ 1-X/4-2 delta Ti 3+ 2 delta (V Ti ) X/4 O 3-
delta .

Incorporation of Ce into the BaTiO 3 lattice was studied by
quantitative microanalysis (WDXS). The mode of Ce incorporation
depends on the firing atmosphere and starting composition. When
fired in air, solid solution BaTi 1-X Ce 4+ X O 3 was formed if CeO 2
was added to BaTiO 3 together with an excess amount of BaO,
solution Ba 1-X Ce 3+ X Ti 1-X/4 (V"" Ti ) X/4 O 3 was formed when CeO 2
was
added together with an excess of TiO 2 and solution
Ba 1-4X/7 Ce 3+ 4X/7 Ti 4+ 1-3X/7 Ce 4+ 3X/7 (V"" Ti ) X/7 O 3 was
formed, if
pure CeO 2 was added to BaTiO 3 . During firing in a reductive
atmosphere a broad solid solubility region between the
Ba 1-X Ce 3+ X Ti 4+ 1-X Ti 3+ X O 3 solution and the Ti-deficient
Ba 1-X Ce 3+ X Ti 4+ 1-X/4-2 Ti 3+ 2 delta (V Ti ) X/4 O 3- delta
solution was detected.
